Owners are
required to obtain permits from the county and the state for any
additional dredging within their mooring area. The permit
applications are listed below as well as a list of local marine
contractors that can assist in this process.
Private
permitting can take several months. Therefore if the property
owner wishes to use the county's dredge contractor for private
dredging it is necessary to obtain the required permits before
the county's work is completed.
