| Good latex paint brought to the
Household Chemical Collection Centers is reformulated by a
contracted paint manufacturer, resulting in a high quality
recycled paint which is offered to Sarasota County residents.
Recycled paint can be purchased
for $5 plus tax per gallon.
The county also donates on a
one-time basis up to ten gallons of recycled paint to homeowners
that occupy their own dwelling and live in Sarasota County.
Proof of residency and photo id is required. Recycled paint may
be limited or not available at certain times. Recycled paint colors vary,
usually it is available in:
- Off White
- Beige
- Brown
- Light Gray
- Country Blue
- Dark Gray
Recycled paint can be used both
outside and inside. Is it not recommended to use on driveways or
metal finishes.

Cash and checks are accepted for payment. Credit cards are not
