Hazardous Waste
Management can provide, to certain businesses within the
boundary of Sarasota County (depending on generator status), a method of disposing of some of their
hazardous and regulated wastes.
The program is Project Green Sweep and is available on Wednesdays from 8
a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bee Ridge Chemical Collection facility at
8750 Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota.
Participants must
complete an application prior to initial drop-off of
wastes. Disposal fees must be paid by check or cash (credit
cards will not be accepted).
Completed PGS applications can be
faxed to 941-316-1300 or mailed to the 8750 Bee Ridge Road
Sarasota, FL 34241.
