Commercial Solid Waste Guide 2008

The Solid Waste recycling and waste reduction
program gives you the opportunity to recycle much of what you
throw away at your business. Recycling can make sound business
sense and impact your bottom line. By recycling and taking
materials out of the waste stream, you may be able to reduce the
size of your garbage container and/or the number of collection
pick-ups.
Recycling is easy as 1-2-3
Call today for a free
audit. We will:
- Assist you with determining
what is in your garbage container that could be
recycled.
- Assist you in reducing the
container size and/or number of pickups needed for your garbage.
- Provide you with
guidance and materials to help you promote and inform
your employees about your recycling program
Start separating your
waste.
- One container for garbage.
- One container for paper recyclables
and cardboard.
- One container for glass, plastic, and
metal recyclables.
- You may not need all of these
containers. Your waste audit can determine the number
and types of containers that you will need.
Decide how to get your
recyclables to a recycling center.
- It's your choice to have a company
pick up your recyclables or you can take them to a
recycling center yourself.
- Share the cost of a recycling hauler
service with adjacent businesses.
