Sarasota County Resource Protection
(RP) reviews and provides comment(s) on development and
construction proposals for protection and preservation of
wetlands, native habitats and listed species.
RP also participates on the Development
Review Committee, reviews special exception petitions, rezone
petitions, sector plans, site and development plans, subdivision
plans, draft and final plats, and construction plans in
accordance with the Environment Chapter of the Sarasota County
Comprehensive Plan and the Environmental Technical Manual of the
county's Land Development Regulations.
RP also provides code compliance services for
environmental stipulations of land development approvals
including mitigation and littoral zone plans. |
