property owner, with a primary residence assessed at $300,000
and who has taken the homestead exemption of $50,000 (residents
only receive a $25,000 exemption applied to the Public School
Board), with $250,000 taxable value ($275,000 for the Public
School Board) (millage rates applied per $1,000 of taxable
value), would expect to pay $3,457.22 for their tax bill in
FY10, not including special assessment districts.*
