Governing Legislation:
Ordinance No. 76-95 as amended by Ordinance Nos. 80-25, 86-95 and 87-92, Article II of Chapter 66, Sarasota County Code
Purpose: To advise the County Commissioners regarding: - the acceptance of grants and donations
- the marking of historic sites with County historical markers
- the History Center’s annual budget
- historical material and data
Requirements: Sarasota County resident
Term: Four years
Meetings: Second Wednesday of the month at 4:30 p.m.
