Mechanical Contractors Licensing & Examining Board
Governing Legislation:
Ordinance No. 2002-079 & 13
Purpose: To examine applications and qualifications for electrical, plumbing, mechanical and specialty contractors doing business in the county, conduct disciplinary hearings, and perform other related functions pursuant to Ordinance No. 2002-079.
Requirements: members as follows:
- one architect
- one mechanical or sanitary engineer
- two master electricians
- two master plumbers
- three citizen / consumer representatives
- one Class 'A' air conditioning contractor
- one Class 'B' air conditioning contractor
- two trade alternate members
Not required to file financial disclosure.
Term: Three-year
Meetings: First Thursday of each month, Development Services Business Center
