Integrated Pest Management Advisory Board
Governing Legislation:
Resolution No. 98-155
Amended by Resolution No. 2005-110
Purpose: To advise and make recommendations to the County Commissioners on matters pertaining to sound, environmentally safe, pest management practices.
Requirements: One member from each of following:
- pest control industry
- field of education
- medical profession
- agriculture or nursery industry
- environmental organization
- pesticide retail sector
- landscape maintenance profession
- S.T.A.R. member
- member from a large public or private enterprise
- member from a homeowner/community association
- School Board Facilities Maintenance Management member who is appointed by the superintendent
- member-at-large not connected with any of the above classifications
Term: Three years
Meetings: Second Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. - 10 meetings per year.
