Steve Uebelacker, Ethics and
Compliance Officer
Steve Uebelacker is a member of the administration team
with Randall Reid, County Administrator and Bill Little, Deputy County Administrator.
Steve reviews and monitors ethical practices for Sarasota
County and provides staff training in ethical standards and operations.
He also investigates allegations of ethical violations for the county.
Steve joined the county from the Florida Department of
Law Enforcement, where he was a special agent. He also has served with
the United States Postal Inspection Service and as a detective with the
Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
